Laundry Attendant

Become a member of our housekeeping team! The position is 4-5 days a week, 20-30 hours weekly (actual days and hours may vary weekly). Additional hours and flexible times can be discussed with the property manager.

Key Laundry Responsibilities:

• Laundry Operations: Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and folding equipment to clean and process linens, towels, bedding, and other hotel laundry items efficiently.
• Sorting and Preparation: Sort laundry items by type, color, and fabric, ensuring proper care and handling to maintain the quality of the linens.
• Stain Removal: Identify and treat stains on laundry items to ensure they meet high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of linens, keeping track of stock levels and notifying management when additional supplies are needed.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect laundered items for quality, ensuring they meet our standards for cleanliness and presentation.
• Folding and Packaging: Fold and package laundered items neatly and professionally to facilitate easy distribution to housekeeping and other hotel departments.
• Maintenance and Cleaning: Keep laundry equipment and work areas clean, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure a seamless flow of clean linens and towels to guest rooms.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Has a positive attitude, open to adventure and meeting new people 
• Has previous experience in laundry operations or housekeeping (preferred but not required).
• Is able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Possesses a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Possesses strong organizational skills.
• Is reliable and punctual.
• Is flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Speaks proficient English 

The compensation for this position is $18 per hour.
