We hiked Mt Elbert and just couldn’t wait to get back to our comfy beds lol.  Verified Lovely Stay! Leadville was the perfect location for our work retreat and the Timberline did not disappoint. We rented the loft and 2 single motel rooms. The loft served as our common area, complete with a full kitchen that rivals home. We cooked several meals and had plenty of space to lounge and work. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Every detail was thought of from USB ports to an electric kettle and coffee and tea. The bedding and towels are high quality. The showers are hot and have great pressure. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the Tabor Opera house and bars and restaurants. A perfect mountain retreat.

The room was perfect for a quick road trip (not too fancy, not too stark) and the bedding was so wonderful we were tempted to take it home.  The downtown location is perfect for exploring the shops and restaurants on foot. We even ran into Ethan on the street the next morning and he made it a point to ask about our experience. Upgraded stay in Room 9: amazing views, spacious, very clean, stocked kitchenette, comfortable bed! Great location, easy walking to restaurants and shopping. The bed and pillows were comfortable We spent one night at this lovely small motel on the main street in Leadville on our road trip around Colorado. Our downstairs room was spacious and well equipped, especially the kitchenette area. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the bath towels were large and fluffy. There was sufficient parking. No breakfast provided on site but the manageress made a recommendation of the cuban cafe a short walk away. Our only "issue" was that the room rate was rather higher than many of our other one night stops.
