A piece of Leadville on your wall. The Silver Miner is a limited edition giclée print of the beloved mural on The Timberline’s Loft building, painted by acclaimed Colorado artist Michael Carson. Hand signed and numbered. Archival quality. Built to last generations.

The mural that greets every visitor arriving from the south — now available to take home. The Silver Miner depicts a miner soaking in the sweeping views of the Sawatch Range, surrounded by 15 Fourteeners including Mount Elbert and Mount Massive. It’s a portrait of Leadville at its core: hardworking, historic, and endlessly beautiful.

Painted by Michael Carson — whose work hangs in private and corporate collections across the U.S. and who has shown at Denver’s Abend Gallery — the mural was completed on August 23, 2024 as the final chapter of The Timberline’s renovation. Carson’s signature interplay of color and light gives the piece a warmth that photographs alone can’t capture.
